GlenAllachie 16 Year Old 50th Anniversary

This is what we think he sounds like:

“I’m Billy Walker, and I’ve been in the whisky business for 50 years. I started out working at Glenallachie distillery, and I’m proud to say that I’ve played a part in maturing and releasing some great sherried whiskies over the years.

To celebrate my 50th anniversary, I’ve bottled a very special Glenallachie 16 Year Old. This cask strength whisky is comprised of 9 Spanish sherry butts, and it’s full of rich espresso notes, glazed figs, spices and heather honey. It’s one of only 4,000 bottles, so it’s truly special.

I hope you enjoy this dram as much as I enjoyed bottling it. Here’s to many more years of great whisky!”

Unfortunately the  GlenAllachie 16 Year Old 50th Anniversary, for the average drinker, this has been sold out fast and already being flipped at auction with a 300% markup. Not sure how many of these bottles will be enjoyed considering the going rate for it.
